WILL YOU COME TO THEIR AID?
For those living in Israel, rocket attacks from Gaza and Lebanon are not uncommon—but the scale, severity, and range of targets involved in more recent attacks have truly been unprecedented. Residents have anywhere from 5 to 20 seconds to reach a protected area from the moment the alarm sounds.
Southern Israel, including cities like Sderot, Ashkelon, and Ashdod, continues to face challenges with ongoing rocket attacks and terrorist activities from the Gaza Strip, impacting innocent lives and highlighting the critical need for robust security measures. The Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, underscored the urgent necessity for safe spaces and reinforced protection for civilians. Additionally, tensions along the northern border have intensified, calling for increased vigilance and support for the communities there to ensure their safety and well-being.
In 2021 we were urgently contacted to help provide lifesaving equipment designed for these emergencies — safety shelters. We were happy to step up to the challenge and thanks to your donations we’ve been able to provide over 200 shelters to date (April 2024).
Having these shelters in a time of heightened crisis is, quite literally, a matter of life and death for all the people of Israel. As a partner in our mission, we pray that those of you with the means to do so will listen to the call to give and donate towards this project. The cost of each shelter stands at $14,000 today. Every donation towards this project, even a small one, is meaningful.

“On behalf of Kibbutz Gonen, we would like to thank you for your generous donation of safe room bomb shelters near the school bus stations in our Kibbutz. Kibbutz Gonen is on the second line of defense, not far from Lebanon. Our community like others has been suffering since October 7th with sirens and the fear of drones and rockets. Your donation will allow us to send our kids to school knowing that in case of a rocket attack, our kids will have a safe place to run to. This helps us build strength and resilience so we can continue to live here and develop this beautiful region.“
