“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor...
Isaiah 61:1a
Dear Partners,
As 2023 nears its end, we at Vision for Israel look back at a year marked by both tragedy and triumphs. Your partnership has enabled us to respond swiftly and effectively after the horrific Hamas destruction on October 7th and during Israel's recent conflict, the Swords of Iron War. Vision for Israel provided essential aid to those who are suffering from this massacre and are most affected.
Together, we've achieved remarkable feats — touching countless lives in Israel. This year's achievements stand as a testament to the power of collective faith and action in the Lord God of Israel.
In these challenging times, your donations have been instrumental in helping us deliver crucial assistance. Vision for Israel placed dozens of safety shelters during this last year, which helped save countless lives from the rocket attacks. We have equipped several defense squads and alert units with tactical gear including bulletproof vests and helmets, ensuring the safety of those who protect Israel. Vision for Israel donated two more ambulances and two more ATVs. Our team has also distributed food baskets to hundreds of families in the southern cities and communities that have suffered relentless missile attacks.
Moreover, we have extended our support to the brave volunteers of rescue organizations. By providing 200 tactical medic kits and protective gear, we have enabled them to save lives under the most harrowing conditions. We also responded to the urgent needs of soldiers in Gaza and in the north, supplying mattresses, warm blankets, and warm winter jackets for better rest and preparedness.
"He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;”
Isaiah 61:1b
But the work is far from over. As the war continues, and the aftermath will leave a lasting impact, the road to recovery is long. Families in cities like Sderot, Netivot, Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Ofakim, and other communities where families evacuated their homes, many of those who have faced the horrors of war, continue to struggle and need the ongoing support of our team and partners.
As this year concludes, we ask you to consider the potential changes in tax deductions for charitable giving in the USA. A year-end donation to Vision for Israel could provide you with tax benefits while significantly aiding in restoring lives to those who are in despair and brokenhearted in Israel.
Your generous contribution will enable us to continue our work in these trying times, offering hope and practical assistance to those who depend on us. Please visit https://www.visionforisrael.com/en/give to make your year-end donation.
Together, let's end this year on a note of generosity and hope. Thank you for standing with us and with Israel.
“In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
