Securing the Future for the Children Of Israel

The cost of living in Israel continues to rise, and the impact is devastating. The most vulnerable among us – families struggling to make ends meet, single parents, and those living below the poverty line – are suffering the most. Over 530,000 families, including 665,000 children, live in food insecurity. This is a reality we cannot ignore.

At Vision for Israel, we've seen firsthand the distress that these families face each day. People like Ya'ara*, a single mother of four children, three of whom have autism. Despite holding a master's degree and working as a teacher, Ya'ara struggles to cover her basic needs due to the rising cost of living. We've been privileged to support Ya'ara with laptops, school bags, holiday gift cards, and more over the years. But the need is far from being fully met.

Vision for Israel has been providing food baskets and gift cards, valued at around $100, to dozens of families every month. These baskets include dry items, legumes, canned food, and gift cards for grocery stores so families can also purchase fresh food. But as the cost of living continues to rise, so does the need for our help.
