Gratitude in the Face of Destruction

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped."

Psalm 28:7a

Dear Friend,

In the shadow of the recent conflicts, where our land has been both scarred by war and shone with the bravery of its people, we reach out not with a request, but with gratitude. Your support has been a light in these times of darkness, and for this, we say thank you.

The heroes of Israel, our courageous soldiers, and police, laid down their lives with love and sacrifice that words can hardly capture. We honor their memory and express our deepest appreciation for their valor. They are the embodiment of a friend in deed—lives given to save lives.

Our hearts are also filled with immense gratitude for the first responders. Those who, amidst chaos and danger, went forward to find and honor the departed, their deeds speak volumes of their courage and compassion.

To the local emergency squads, the volunteers who stood watch, providing a mantle of security over local neighborhoods, your vigilance has been a fortress to many. Thank you for being the guardians of peace amidst unrest.

And to the amazing Israelis, those individuals who emerged with food, supplies, and kindness to serve the soldiers on the front lines and their fellow citizens, your generosity has fueled the spirit of this nation.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to charity organizations and benevolent nations across the globe. Your assistance and solidarity have not only helped Israel recover but have also reinforced the bridges of international friendship and support.

To you, our partners and friends, whose hands have stretched across oceans and continents, have brought aid and comfort to many hurting people. Your efforts to replenish what was depleted have not gone unnoticed.

Lastly, our gratitude extends to the local authorities, whose tireless work has been instrumental in coordinating the aid that flows into our nation.

As we navigate the aftermath of war and strive toward peace, it is the collective actions of each one of you that weave a tapestry of hope for our future.

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever."

Psalm 107:1

May the days ahead bring a renewal of peace and prosperity, and may our gratitude echo through the generations.

Vision for Israel is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity. All contributions designated for specific projects shall be applied to those projects, and we may assess up to 20% to be used for administering the gift. Occasionally, we receive more contributions for a given project than can be wisely applied to that project. When that happens, we use these funds to meet a similar pressing need.
