As Passover approaches, our hearts fill with joy at the thought of the upcoming holiday. It's a time to gather with family and friends, to celebrate and remember the Exodus story that stands at the heart of Passover. However, for some families in Israel, financial struggles make it difficult to provide for their loved ones and dim the joy of the holiday.
Since 1996, Vision for Israel has been committed to ensuring that every family has the chance to celebrate the holiday with dignity. Each year, we provide gift cards to impoverished families who are struggling, so they can purchase the special Passover food staples they need for this 7-day holiday. Currently, over 1,000 families are hoping and waiting for this holiday assistance.

For most observant Jews, preparing for Passover involves purchasing all new food items since eating leavened foods is forbidden. For those in financial distress, purchasing special foods for Passover can pose a big problem. That's where VFI comes in. With your support, we can provide families in need with the means to purchase the food they need for the holiday.
Your donations have already helped us provide gift cards to 600 families, but we still have a ways to go before we reach our goal of 1,000 families. Each gift card is for $100 and makes it possible for the family to purchase the food needed for the holiday.
Over the past 27 years, VFI has assisted countless families, allowing us to build trusting relationships with social services throughout Israel and support hundreds of thousands of families.
