“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.”
John Muir
Dear Partners,
From the very beginning of Vision for Israel in 1994 we have always worked hard to assist those impoverished in order to provide all forms of assistance to the individual and to the community, from food baskets, financial assistance, social rehabilitation events, to ambulances and construction of mobile bomb shelters.
In order to continue expanding our reach to those in need, our vision is to develop and create a special nature garden space on the rooftop of the Millennium Center.
Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. — Jeremiah 33:6
Our vision is to develop the rooftop to a garden space in order to give us the ability to host visiting groups and most importantly—to provide a space for those rehabilitating and those who seek healing.
Many people in Israel have been affected by wars and terrorism and many are longing for support with our social welfare projects. A comforting place to congregate among nature is a gift to anyone and we would love to offer that in the ongoing support we provide to those we serve in the community.
The cost for development of the roof top is $75 per square foot. To complete the roof and garden, we are looking to build out 4,000 square feet. If 4,000 of our generous friends considered donating $75 each, we could reach our goal in no time.
Think about how we can all transform the lives of people by providing them with care in an environment that can change their future for good.
Please consider joining us in this selfless mission by donating here.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Psalms 23:2-3
